Location: Sheridan, AR | Pay: $35–$42/hour | Schedule: M–F, 8 am–5 pm | 6-Month Contract (Potential to Extend or Convert to Full-Time)

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled IT Operations Technician II to support our client in the manufacturing industry at their Sheridan, AR location. In this role, you will provide essential technical support, manage critical systems, and help ensure IT operations run smoothly across the facility. This is your opportunity to become a go-to problem solver in a highly respected industrial setting.


What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a vital part in both frontline support and backend operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical assistance via phone, email, chat, and in-person support

  • Configuring and deploying hardware and managing peripheral inventory

  • Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise software and applications

  • Supporting and maintaining IT infrastructure (computers, printers, phones, servers, cameras, etc.)

  • Managing user accounts and group memberships

  • Configuring and troubleshooting mobile devices

  • Participating in IT projects and a rotational on-call schedule

  • Promoting and maintaining high safety standards at all times


Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of technical support experience (hardware/software troubleshooting)

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience with Microsoft AD, Azure AD (Entra ID), and Cisco networking

  • Ability to wear PPE and lift up to 30 lbs

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a heavy industrial environment

  • Formal helpdesk or customer service training

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Intune

  • AZ-900, MD-102, and AZ-040T00-A certifications

  • Ability to document processes and proactively address recurring issues

Pay Details: $35.00 to $42.00 per hour
