Pay Rate: $29 to $31 per hour + $110/week per diem (for qualified candidates)
PDS Tech Commercial, a trusted partner to the aerospace industry, is seeking skilled Machine Operators to support precision manufacturing operations in Kinston, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are driven by accuracy, craftsmanship, and a passion for hands-on work in a dynamic production environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Machine Operator, you’ll be responsible for setting up and operating both conventional and CNC machinery to produce parts and assemblies with exacting tolerances. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring high-quality output in support of aerospace production.
Key Responsibilities:

Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine machining operations

Set up and operate various machine tools including CNC equipment

Perform shop computations and precision measurements to ensure product quality

Fit and assemble mechanical components and determine tooling requirements

Monitor quality through statistical process controls and other verification procedures

Carry out routine machine maintenance as part of daily duties

Move product across work areas using assigned shop equipment

Support continuous flow by training others and assisting in team productivity

Participate in ongoing training to achieve MVP certification
What You’ll Need to Bring:
Required Qualifications:

2+ years of CNC machine operation experience

Ability to interpret blueprints and technical documents

Comfortable working on your feet for full 8-hour shifts

Flexible to work any shift as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent technical training

Experience with both conventional and computerized machine tools

Knowledge of shop math, feeds, speeds, and measuring instruments

Pay Details: $29.00 to $31.00 per hour
