PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a Manufacturing Technician to support production of Process Gas Chromatograph instruments at our partner facility in Houston, TX (77041). This full-time, first-shift role is ideal for technically skilled professionals — especially those with military electronics backgrounds — who are ready to make a tangible impact on high-performance, safety-critical systems.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As a key member of the production team, you will:

Troubleshoot defective electronic subassemblies and full electronic systems

Monitor production processes and report anomalies to Product Support

Implement corrective actions and collaborate with production and engineering teams

Gather and analyze data to support root-cause investigations

Work with sensor and measurement technologies

Operate on the production floor and in office settings (on-site only)

Ensure products meet standards for hazardous area applications (OJT available)
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
-
Minimum 2-year associate degree in electronics or engineering

Strong electronic background with diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
-
2–5 years of manufacturing experience in a production (repetitive build) environment

Ability to work independently with attention to detail
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:

Military background in electronics (Air Force, Navy, Space Force preferred, others considered)

Familiarity with hazardous area equipment standards

Experience with instrument configuration or system-level testing

Programming experience a plus

Pay Details: $30.00 per hour
