Role Overview

As a Senior Process Engineer, you’ll take ownership of the engineering lifecycle — from design to implementation to ongoing maintenance — across facilities, utilities, and manufacturing equipment. Your work will support mission-critical CQV (Commissioning, Qualification, Validation) projects that ensure GMP compliance, system integrity, and product quality.

You’ll act as a technical leader, subject matter expert, and problem-solver, collaborating across functions to drive execution, resolve issues, and optimize processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise CQV activities for systems and equipment

  • Review and approve DQ, IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols and reports as SME

  • Conduct GMP risk assessments, including Sensor Risk Assessments

  • Provide hands-on support during startup, validation, and troubleshooting

  • Develop and execute periodic requalification plans

  • Optimize equipment and system performance using SCADA/PLC/control network data

  • Interpret and update engineering documents including P&IDs and wiring diagrams

  • Lead or support root cause investigations and change assessments

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, and efficiency

  • Maintain and manage Master Equipment and Instrument Inventories

  • Support equipment maintenance, calibration, and spare parts readiness

  • Use CMMS to document work, changes, and maintenance schedules

  • Prepare for and support internal/external audits and inspections


Minimum Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a cGMP-regulated manufacturing environment

  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry

  • Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and risk assessment skills

Preferred:

  • Aseptic filling equipment and isolator experience

  • Vendor management and technical project leadership experience

  • Familiarity with CMMS and automation platforms (SCADA, PLCs, etc.)

Pay Details: $42.97 to $71.42 per hour
